Scheduling Your Visit
Appointments are best booked through the Office Calendar in your patient portal or during your visit. The office will be able to assist you in scheduling your appointment during normal business hours. Choose the visit that matches your needs:
- Initial Visit: 90 minute in-depth history, physical exam, and comprehensive treatment plan with Dr. Preefer.
- Follow-Ups: Typically 30-60 minute appointments (20-50 minutes with provider depending on visit type).
- Telemedicine: Available for established patients located in California at the time of the call.
- Infusion Therapy: Scheduled in 45 to 60 minute blocks; some infusions may require multiple blocks in a day based on your personalized treatment plan.
- Ultrasound-Guided Injections: Typically 30 minutes per type of injection.
Not all Infusion Therapy or Ultrasound-Guided Injection appointments may be scheduled through the Online Calendar. Please ask the office for information on scheduling your prescribed treatment.
Schedule Care*Off-hours appointments may be negotiable. Patients may contact the office with questions or ask during their visits.
Payments & Fees
We are a direct-pay clinic, meaning no insurance is billed. This allows us to offer unhurried, personalized care without insurance limitations.
There are 3 sources of fees:
- Initial Visit (90 min): In-depth history, physical exam, and treatment plan with Dr. Preefer.
- Follow-Ups: Booked in 30-minute increments (20–50 minutes with provider depending on visit type).
- Telemedicine: Available for established patients located in California at the time of the call.
Initial Visit: $1,030 per 90 minutes
Follow-ups: $515 per 30 minutes, including Telemedicine
Infusion Therapy: $600 per block for the first four treatments, $750 per block thereafter
Trigger Point Injection: $570 + $55 per additional site
Peripheral Nerve Injection: $570 + $55 per additional site
Greater Occipital Nerve Block: $570
Epidural Steroid Injection: $570
Sphenopalatine Ganglion Block: $570
Stellate Ganglion Block: $620
Deposit: 50% required to reserve your appointment, refundable up to 2 business days prior to your appointment.
Payment Methods Accepted: Credit, Debit, FSA, and HSA cards, Check, and Cash
Superbills: Provided upon request for out-of-network reimbursement (not guaranteed)
We cannot accept patients with Medicare or Medicaid plans nor eligibility at this time. Patients who have Medicare or Medicaid plans or eligibility and schedule appointments regardless may have their appointments cancelled by the office at the time the error has been found with standard cancellation policies applied.
Cancellations and Late Arrivals
Cancel/Reschedule: Please reschedule at least two business days in advance to retain your deposit for the appointment. At the office's discretion, a deposit may be applied to a future visit.
*Appointments that require the office to special order supplies will be unable to refund any deposited funds after the supplies have been ordered.
Late Arrival: Please call ahead if you are able. Visits may be shortened or rescheduled (including later in the day if there is availability).
