Appointments and Scheduling

How do I schedule an appointment?

Patients schedule their own appointments through our online scheduling system. You’ll be asked to log into your patient portal before booking. If you need help, feel free to call us or email the clinic directly.

What type of appointment should I schedule?

New patients must schedule a 90-minute appointment for their first visit. This allows time for a comprehensive evaluation and collaborative care planning.
Returning patients will be assisted in scheduling subsequent appointments. Options include:
- 30-minute visits for quick check-ins, medication maintenance, or reviewing test results.
- 60-minute visits for new concerns, significant health changes, or more in-depth conversations.‍
- 90-minute visits are also available if your needs require more time.

Please note, patients scheduling procedures and/or infusions will be advised by the office on the amount of time they will need to schedule or the office will schedule the appointment for them. Most procedures will require 30 minutes. Most infusions take one hour, but some patients will need up to four hours.

Do you offer telemedicine?

Yes, telemedicine visits are available for returning patients with non-urgent or non-procedural needs. You must be physically in California unless you qualify for a licensure exception. A private, secure environment is required.

What if I'm immune-compromised or unvaccinated?

We’re happy to accommodate. Please reach out before scheduling so we can reserve a space and time tailored to your needs. While every room is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly prior to and after every patient visit, we will endeavor to provide additional safety measures.

Payments & Insurance

Do you accept insurance?

We are a direct pay (cash-only) clinic. This means we do not work with insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid. This independence lets us devote the time and treatments your case deserves—without insurance restrictions.

However, we do provide superbills that you may submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

We cannot accept patients with Medicare or Medicaid plans nor eligibility at this time.

Can I seek reimbursement from my insurer?

We provide a superbill after each visit that you may submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan’s out‑of‑network benefits.

Do you work with Medicare or Medicaid?

At this time, our practice is unable to accept patients enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid.

To avoid any inconvenience, all patients’ insurance status will be checked prior to their scheduled appointment. If it is determined that you are enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid, you will be contacted by our office and respectfully directed to seek care with another provider. We understand this may cause frustration, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Our staff can provide you with resources or direct you to other healthcare providers in the area who may be able to meet your needs.

How much does an appointment cost?

Appointments are billed at $500 per 30-minute increment. This includes time spent with your provider and 10 minutes for administrative charting.

Procedures and infusions have separate pricing based on type and length of treatment.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at booking to reserve your appointment. The balance is due prior to your appointment start time.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept:

Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx)
Direct bank transfers (preferred)
Cash

Please note: some digital payment methods may incur a service charge.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Please reschedule at least two business days in advance to retain your deposit for the appointment. At the office's discretion, a deposit may be applied to a future visit.

*Appointments that require the office to special order supplies will be unable to refund any deposited funds after the supplies have been ordered.

What happens if I’m late?

Please call ahead if you are able. Visits may be shortened or rescheduled (including later in the day if there is availability).

For procedural appointments, we may not be able to proceed if you're late.
For non-procedural visits, your provider will use the time available, but you cannot exceed your reserved time unless explicitly approved.

If you are too late to receive care, the full service fee will still be charged.

Pain Management Philosophy

Do you prescribe opioids?

No. Our clinic does not initiate nor maintain opioid prescriptions. However, if you are currently taking opioids, we will work collaboratively with your primary care physician to adjust or taper your regimen safely, if appropriate. This may include our office being your prescriber for a short period of time in order to provide hands-on oversight. After this period of time, we will require that your primary care provider resume prescribing your opioids.
